KEPERO GUIDE
Save links and organize your library
A saved link is a starting point. Give it enough context to find it again, then collect related materials around the work you want to do.
Save a link first
Open your library, choose Add link and paste the original URL. You can keep a link even when the source does not allow Kepero to download its content.
An original link, a source embed and an archived media file are different things. A playable embed does not mean a local copy has been saved. Download availability depends on the source, its access rules and the media format.
Add context you can search
Use a clear title and relevant tags. Keep your own observations in the personal note, so you can remember why you saved the material.
Use library search to find titles, text and tags. AI features require a configured provider and available budget; keeping and organizing links does not require an AI request.
Group related materials in a collection
Create a collection for a project or topic, then add existing materials to it. A collection groups your saves; it does not publish them.
When you remove a material from a collection, you are changing that collection's membership. Deleting the material itself is a separate action. Check the confirmation before deleting anything you want to keep elsewhere.
Choose storage deliberately
An archived file needs a configured storage destination. Where Google Drive is enabled, connect your account in Settings → Saving before saving new media there. Connecting Drive does not move your existing media.
A disconnected account, a missing file or a provider quota can prevent playback even when the saved link is still in your library. Keep the original URL as a way back to the source.
